This year’s PLASTEC East show was a great opportunity for our team serving processors in the region to provide face-to-face technical service and application development support to show attendees.
Diversity of Materials: Redefined
As expected, the medical segment was well represented at PLASTEC East, but our team also had an opportunity to showcase our product line of more than 6,400 specialty, engineering and commodity thermoplastics to processors in a variety of market segments, including oil and gas, consumer goods and firearm/military.
During our time in New York, we noticed increased foot traffic compared to last year’s show, and processors showed a strong collective interest in our soft-touch, automotive- and medical-grade, clear and PEEK material offerings. As business in the region continues to ramp up, you can be sure that we’ll continue to expand our portfolio of products and value-added services to help you meet changing market and customer demands.

Jason Merkle, technical service and application development engineer, and our technically skilled sales team had the pleasure of meeting with processors in a variety of market segments at the show.
